Is There a Man and a Woman in Marriage?
Jesus' definition of marriage is not really in anyone's full interest from the point of view of our sinful nature. The division he gives us of human sexuality is so beautiful and so profound that I'd rather be singled in Jesus' world than trying to fulfill every single sexual desire I have in my own world. And ultimately, obviously, as we pull back, the curtain we begin to realize that the whole idea of a man and a woman in marriage is meant to be a picture of Christ and the church in eternity. That's what this is really about. It doesn't matter if I don't get in on human marriage. If I can get in on that, then I have what matters
