I did sales engineering for a year and a half at Oracle. I noticed that cloud computing was just exploding in 2015 or so. So I decided to start thinking about other teams that I want to transition to. And the cloud computing, sort of cloud database cloud computing team was starting up the first customer success team. That's what led to me doing this full time as the head of developer engagement with Google Cloud Tech. It involves creating content for developers in the context of what they care about.
