The Grenfell Fire

Emigrant refugees, asylum seekers and countless others called the flats home. This included everyone from young people who just moved to london to elderly folks who'd lived in the tower for more than 30 years. Often they joked that they knew each other so well because they spent so long waiting for the slow elevator. But on the night of june thirteenth, two thousand 17, an unspeakable tragedy pushed the community to its breaking point.
