What's the Significant Milestone?
The december deficit clocked in at 101 billion dollars in one month. That blew away the expectation for 95 point one billion. And what's probably even worse than the 100 billion dollar milestone, we also set the record for an annual goods trade deficit. We had one point o eight trillion dollar deficit in goods for the year 20 21. Never have we had a trade deficit in a year in goods that even came near one trillion. The real problem isn't a shortage of goods, it's a surplus of money because we're really importing more goods than ever before.
