Carl Whitaker: The appetite for apartment investment is still out there, but there is still a gap between what's being asked of a selling price and what's actually transpiring. He says the Midwest region with its stability and its relative affordability from an investment perspective is creeping back up on some radars. "I don't think it's going to be enough to move the needle in terms of national scope of investment," he adds.
