You don't need to be a philosopher to design a proper psychodalic. The only way you can test for conscienceis by looking at the substrator, the physical material substate that i think exists. No matter what you simulate, whether on this computer you're doing tax return or you simulatin the human brain, it doesn't matter. It's consciousness is always extremely limited. So you're not going to get consciousness er on conventional machines. If you wanted to get human level, or sort of approximate human level, consciousnes, you have to build new amorphic computers.
