Dr. Olga Fedorenko is an associate professor of anthropology at the Seoul National University. She received her master's and PhD from the East Asian Studies Department at the University of Toronto. Her new book, Flower of Capitalism, explores how local sensibilities, values and politics shaped South Korean advertising as a media form in the first decade of the 21st century.
