The Index of Semantic Importance
The index of semantic importance measures how a concept or a brand is central in a discourse. So we look at the image of that concept or of that brand, and we look at how frequently this is mentioned in a discourse. In total, its a proxy for brand awareness. People are aware of a certain concept, but also how central this concept is in their network of associations. It's exactly king at the three dimensions that i was telling you before, so prevalence, diversity and connectivity.
