Zen Mindfulness Practice - Hindrance Practice

I encourage my Zen students to, to practice certain mindfulness practices. I really encourage them to do a mindfulness practice called hindrance practice. And what we do in hindrance practice is choose one sort of cluster of hindrances at a time. So with the practice, you might focus on that cluster and then make the intention to be very aware of whenever that hindrance is arising. We just practice watching these things. Oh, anger is arising or aversion is arising. It's a tremendously powerful practice. Well, yeah, we can D or disidentify with these states of body mind as they're arising.
