How Do You Record Reef Animals on a Dive?
When you dive on a reef, and when you now take your clipboard and write down all the fish you can see, you're not actually recording nearly all of the fish on the reef. You're only recording the ones that are active in the daytime. Ar lots of fish to hide away in the day and only come out at night so you never see them when you snockle around. But it's also important at the same time to remember that we're were surveying a different set of the animals on a reef. If you can use these multiple senses, you probably get a much more detailed picture of the levelf by diversity in the whole system.
