The Disaster of Pripet
Initial data shows that the amount of radiation leaking from the damaged reactor isn't ovally concerning. Three violent explosions caused by further nuclear reactions in the corps of the reactor send ruined fuel rods and glowing chunks of graphite high into the air. It may look like a rather spectacular firework show to the people of pripat but to the scientists, it's a warning shot they can no longer ignore. 36 hours after the initial explosion, on the afternoon of april 20 seventh, a song on the radio is interrupted.
