Acua Crabs - The First Crab

Kiwa hirsuta was discovered by a team from the monterey bay aquarium in two thousand six along the pacific antarctic ridge, south of easter island. Is this pale, hairy looking crab, kind of elongated looking, i would say it looks a little bit like some sort of lobster perhaps. But it has no eyes. And it lives on hydrothermal vents. So this discovery gave us not only a new species, but a new genus, that kea genus.
