A Google search for Visual Studio download on Thursday morning sent them to a site that was marked malicious by only one endpoint provider at the time. But then by Thursday night, it was marked by 43 different anti-malware engines. The author also went on to say that he searched for different software and Google sponsored links for known malware sites came back.
