Stop Micromanaging for a Short Period of Time
For a lot of micromanagers, the reason why they're doing it is a lack of confidence either in themselves or in the other person. And so if you let go of control, they'll often do better than you could ever have imagined. It's like an addiction, desire for control to one day at a time. But unless you get some release of control, there's no way to know what's going to happen.
