Is There a Crisis of Relevance Realization?

We have a lot of information now and we don't actually know how to navigate what's relevant. I think most of our cognition its adaptivity is built out of these opponent processes they can be between your focused attention and your wandering attention. We've always had to deal with the fact that that puts us at risk of ignoring the genuinely relevant information and deceiving ourselves. That has been put on meth with social media and and communications technology so we now more and more need wisdom.
