With strangers, we can read other people's thoughts and feelings accurately roughly only 20 % of the time. With friends, it's closer to 30%. And with spouses, we pek it like 35 so whatever you think is on your partner's mind, two thirds of the time you're probably wrong. We tend to think that always understanding everything is good, but we all naturally have bad moods, good moods, we vacillate.
