Legal Writing - Is There a Style in Law?
Richard Posner epitomizes the homo-economic. He sees literature as remote from law, which he sees as a technique of government. Richard Posner: There is little space for literature in this world. humanities are often vilified. They are often looked down at. And if we do deal with them and with literature in particular, we only deal with superficial things, for instance, with style. I think it's important style, isn't it? But this is difficult to be aware of in the lawyerly world.
