The Importance of Luck in Investing

I would say that we've been very, very lucky as a company. We need a certain amount of luck, right? We were the right place, the right time, the right team. And market allowed us to grow food straps so we didn't have any money, we didn't had any funding. That also meant that we were able to make decisions that we thought made sense. When we did actually take investment many years later, they bought into the fact that we were already a profitable company and we had a plan that seemed to work.
