The Graham Bond Trio
The Don Rendel Quintet included a fantastic multi-instrumentalist, Graham Bond. The trio soon became one of the hottest bands on the London R&B scene. In April 1963 they became the Graham Bond quartet with the addition of virtuoso guitarist John McLaughlin. They continued playing in the Johnny Burge octet and also started performing as the Graham Bond trio.
