Playing With and Against the Canon
I think one thing you do really well is that there's always a engagement with whatever the canonical ideas are, I guess. Even if a theory is on its face silly or reprehensible, even if an idea philosophically is so strange, I like to consider how could a human being come to believe this. And I don't think I succeeded in that or even come close to succeeding in that, but I do hope I fail in interesting ways.
