Morris's Contribution to the French Revolution

Morris is the only foreign diplomat from any country who stays in the US all the way through the revolution. He kept a diary then and wrote back letters to President Washington, Secretary of State Jefferson. When things were at their worst, he hid people in his apartment to save them from the guillotine. Morris also sat by Hamilton's side at his deathbed.
