The Importance of Existential Safety in Marketing
I think I totally reject this dichotomy between like the sort of existential safety of like the fast take off the thing takes over the world immediately and this sort of slow take off of things get less and less aligned with human values. We're more and more like sort of, you know, manipulated and optimizing at a societal level for the wrong things even though we're destroying the planet. Yeah, it will and it already and it already has been is the other thing. It's not just AI, it's also development of technology that is useful for understanding humans and predicting them in general.
