Do You Really Want to Fix a Black Child by Making Them Suffer?
I think people truly most of the time are motivated to do the most harm out of the goodness of their hearts. They're like, it's so great of me that I am getting these teens' lives on the right track by making them pick cotton for me. We know now that taking kids away from their home and putting them in a kind of constructed environment can be abusive or often violent. It doesn't rehabilitate them. And that's kind of reflected in the juvenile justice system.
