For African Americans, we're already walking around with a lot of systemic trauma that we face. We want to make sure that people view us in a different light. And so one of the things that we try to do is not be labeled with anything or not be viewed as normal. So when considering all those things, African Americans experience a lot way before we actually get to the right diagnosis.
