How do you make sure that there's nothing coming from the outside, like a cosmic ray, like a high energy proton coming from sun or something? People typically put these big tanks of stuff in deep mines a couple of couple of miles underground. And em or sometimes a popular place wath things like road tunnels. Under mont blanc in the alps, there's a road tunnel which is sort of drilled underneath the m underneath the rock of mont blanc. There's a side ruom from the tunnel, which, am ah, is full of physics experiments.
