For Canadians, you do actually need to get the consent of residents of Canada to collect their personal information. So that's why you're seeing the cookie consent banner because, for example, Facebook ads will collect your IP address and device identifier to track you using those ads. In terms of when you click on X, the website looks completely the same. That's correct. The only difference should be that you're not being tracked by these particular scripts. But there's an argument to me as to whether third party tools will change all the time. I feel like within the next six months, we'll get an answer as to GA for personally. Google Analytics would be considered a non-essential marketing
