The Myth of Language
Harari: Once you get over the number of about 25 people, you've all Harari suggested that humans invented this technology called language. And earlier primates and still in the primate world today, bonobos and gibbons and gorillas and all of that chimpanzees, they do this act of grooming. But again, bigger tribes slaughter smaller tribes. What we do is with language as a tool, we also then created another adaptation from language called gossip. The mechanism that we created as human beings as a technology is myth.
