There's just not trusted centralized places of organization that has provided social scaffolding for the African continent. So here in the western world, we talk about sovereignty from governments. In those countries, the governments don't have sovereignty over their own states and their own monetary policies. They're outsourced out to European printing press and they pay 6% of the total money supply as printing fees and transportation costs. The idea is like, okay, if we're going to use somebody else's money, perhaps we should use one that is based on the internet - Bitcoin.
