The Importance of Interdependence in Homeschooling

Homeschoolers are an independent lot and they don't like to be you know boxed in and hemmed in but I think this is why it can be difficult to tweak an existing curriculum unless you're familiar with that curriculum as a whole. We also are tempted to abandon books too soon absolutely and not realizing how because the curriculum is interdependent how another subject or another book might help your child grasp an idea or how that book is playing an essential part right there was this nuanced thing that I noticed that where Charlotte Mason's own curriculum plans and her projection for all the subjects were different from unit studies.
