The Emergency's Act Was a Powerful Tool to Discriminate Participation
CNN's John Defterios sat down with Canadian foreign minister Kristia Freeland to talk about the protests in Toronto. She said she was impressed by how protesters were willing to risk criminal charges and have their bank accounts seized as a way of calling attention to what they saw as abuse from government. The prime minister also spoke out against Justice Rulow's ruling that froze frozen assets, saying it would discourage participation but encourage cooperation. He included in his remarks that some cops were on board for the protest which should tell you something if he is so gleeful at being right behind her piece of shameless frivolous-ass sh*t says Miss Freeland.
