The History of Government Leakers

Samuel Morrison leaked classified information to the New York Times in 1957. He was caught and convicted of stealing government property again, but this time he got a full life sentence for his actions. Obama pardoned him on Tuesday after an 18-month trial that lasted more than two years. The president has been criticized by some who say it's too easy to pardon leakers because they are usually found guilty or at least not directly involved with national security.
