XVivo XC2 Preservation for Liver Transplantation

This liver would have otherwise been discarded, but they utilize their unique XVivo XC2 approach to preserve it for up to a week before actually implanting it into a patient who needed this liver. And that patient's doing extremely well. So we know that these current organ preservation methods have a pretty narrow window. They say usually less than 12 hours to actually assess transport and implant donor graphs for human transplantation. This is really a cut above what's out there for preservation of liver's long term.
