The Arizona Statute on Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse
A listener wanted an explanation on what Arizona statute 133620 is. It's a criminal statute and it says that people have an obligation to report to authorities if they see signs of abuse or neglect. The Department of Child Safety has a hotline set up where people can report anonymously. If one of these mandatory reporters fails to report, they face some criminal charges.
