The Difference Between Cryptocurrencies and Government Currencies

There's only 21 million bitcoins that will ever be mined and that limit is set for around the middle of the 2040s. So these days it takes a lot longer than it used to. I mean you used to be able to mine a bitcoin for the cost of making a piece of toast whereas these days it's about the cost of running a house for a month. The internet doesn't recognize Italy, Poland, Britain, America or China. At the end of the next decade there will be a global currency but we don't know what it'll be.
