Augustin and the Mannequies
Augustin is full of this pride of mind and heart he thinks oh you know the scriptures are so simplistic they don't have near the eloquence of Cicero. He instead falls in with this group called the mannequies right so they're a dualistic sect who believe that the body is bad all these times are crazy things. Augustin becomes sorely disappointed and hurt by his students because back in that day the teacher would teach and then the students would actually directly pay the teacher.
