Is There a Cost to Sitting on the Fence?
There is an agreed draft communicate. A lot of people felt that going into the G20, it would be impossible to achieve an agreed communique. I think most Western diplomats who are being quoted have said that it's a bit tougher than they had expected. India has in the last couple of months been using slightly tougher wording in terms of towards Russia and towards Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
