Do You Need an Internal Focus of Attention?

An external focus of attention, whether proximal or a distal, is probably going to be the ideal focus of attention. But there are occasions when an internal focus of attention is required,. That depends on the information of the cues that you are focusing on. So in Rowan, for example, that's a cue they use all the time to focus on leg drive. And you also have some sports where the external information, the external folk are a bit harder to find.
