The Siloed Culture of Popular Culture
There was something about the 70s and 80s in particular that I don't see in popular culture now. A lot of what we consume is within our own elite groups except for sports which people, lots of people, all still watch together. One thing I don't like about today versus then with all the choices comes a much more siloed cultural consumption. But yeah, there's a loss with every gain. Let's just put it that way.
