Did Powell Give the Green Light?
I don't think Powell has given the green light. Even when he used disinflationary 15 times, we just continue to run these red lights and the market has continued to outperform. We're looking at declining earnings growth and multiple expansion which I think those two things just don't really reconcile. And what makes me nervous is the disregard for the fact that the Fed is telling you that rates are going to stay elevated but it's pricing in something all different.
