The End of Modernity in New Zealand
In 1848 we do see two malts in Britain but they're on the imperial periphery. It's not got to do simply with the fact that this is a country completely lacking in revolution New Zealand. The chartered movement was admired across Europe as a well-networked and sophisticated movement of social critique.
