Getting a Lower G I Bled
Based on various predictors with their likelihood ratios, at oftentimes you can really get a reasonably good sense whether or not the patient has an upper or lower g i bled. Angeo suites have the c t scanner in them, and they can just move on to the invasive angeography and encoiling right there. And this is different from simply a contrasted c t scan. The patient goes down to get a dry st skin. They inject dye, and essentially they get a venus phase and an arterial phase cat skin. That can show bleeding anywhere in the abdominal cavity.
