The Ottomans turned their attention to where the two remaining hospitalers' strongholds on the Grand Harbor. Fort St. Michael sat at the choke point of Senglia, but its seaward defenses were lacking. For three full weeks this went on, the cannon roaring, the archibuses crackling, shouts, and screams. A full assault was coming, and everyone knew it.
