The Binary Narrative of Apathy

The New York Times ran a story about people not calling the police after Kitty Genovese was killed. The article's tone is like, why did no one call the police? If only they called the police, then the police would have come and everything would have been fine. Uranais: People don't know that these systems are broken down.
