There's now 17 states that have allowed children to work and work dirty hard jobs. And yet we are a society that does not protect children. We don't have universal healthcare. Because that's considered the purview of like adult responsibility, the parents individual. They have the money. I think what happens in a society in trouble as America is that people either have,. which we don't, a social movement that captures them or they go berserk into these various areas. American capitalists wanting more and more profit by exploiting more and more people. As labor begins to fight back with unions but doesn't have a political voice. No choice between capitalism and socialism or social democratic platform.
