Why Didn't the Europeans Conquer Europe?
Jerryd diamond argues that Europe benefited from the east west axis of the continent. This allowed them to expand without having to re invent how they farmed or shepherded herds. According to diamond, a large, stratified society allows for people to be full time tradespeople which results in innovation and new technology. But should this theory be taught in every school around the world? Or should we all follow the lead of the critics and say, f gery diamond?
