How to Use Strava to Run a Marathon

A split is the time it takes for you to cover a specific distance. In a race environment, we are typically looking for negative splits. A negative split is when you run the second half of your race faster than the first half or even splits. Most commonly, you will see positive splits referred to in situations where a runner blew up or hit the wall or bonked.
