How do you interact with all the many decisions that you are going to make over your career? This isn't a heavy management system. It's not, ouknow, a list of items that you have to check off. All those things might be useful to you. The point is to cover this principle of getting out ahead of your decisions,. So when we imagine a decision, we think about the reactive version of making decisions. We are suddenly confronted with a situation, and we must make a decision when we are in the situation. When we don't have emotional distance from a decision, that makes it more difficult to make a clear headed decision to begin with.
