How to Limit Spikes in Your Blood Sugar Levels

The first cause of aging is a process called glycation, which is simply the bonding of sugar to protein. Sugar or glucose has an affinity to proteins and acts like glue on them. Sweets and starches are both made of glucose; they're very rapidly digested and absorbed into the blood as glucose. The glucose level in the blood spikes dramatically when we eat these foods. They immediately lock on to our proteins and start that glycation and advanced glycation in-product process and hasten aging.
