The Macroeconomic Mousstrom Has Engulfed Private Equity
The pre-COVID days are not at all like the days we're in right now, which is a real understatement. 52% of our PE respondents said that there are going to be more deal delays; 40% said fewer exits and 46%. Just fewer deals in general, more capital chasing, fewer deals, longer hold times for sure. So a very, very different environment than just a couple of years ago, for sure.
