Claude Cajun's Photographs

Jennifer Shaw is Professor Emeritus of Art History at Sonoma State University. She was finishing her PhD when she first saw some of Claude Cajun's photographs. One image from 1927 caught her attention - a bodybuilder dressed up as a bodybuilder, with nipples on the shirt. The overwhelming impression that I had in the days and the weeks that followed was just of being a treasure hunter,. It really felt like I had found something. And I very much had the feeling that this was a once in a lifetime experience.
